Fermín Aldeguer’s recent performance at the Moto2 Grand Prix in Thailand did not go unnoticed, especially to the trained eyes of expert Álex Crivillé.
“Aldeguer was absolutely brilliant in Thailand,” Crivillé began, speaking to Marca. “From the start, he set a blistering pace, securing pole position, setting the fastest lap, and ultimately clinching the victory. His ability to leave a rider of Acosta’s caliber three seconds behind is proof of his talent and determination.”
The Boscoscuro team has every reason to be proud of their rider, who with this victory further solidified his position as one of the emerging talents to watch in Moto2. “With two wins this season, Aldeguer is clearly showing that he is not here to make up the numbers. He is growing as a rider and his improvement is evident,” Crivillé added.
However, the former rider also had words for Pedro Acosta, the category leader. “Acosta is a smart rider. He knows when to take risks and when to play it safe. At this moment, with the title at stake, he is thinking strategically. And, as we have seen, he excels at that.”
Crivillé concluded with a note of anticipation for the upcoming races, “With riders like Aldeguer and Acosta showing their worth, the end of this season promises to be exciting.”
