Aki Ajo has taken on the role of Team Manager at Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and is highly confident about what the 2025 season might hold for the Austrian manufacturer, referring to his belief in what not only Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta can do, but also thinking about Maverick Viñales and Enea Bastianini.

In an interview with GPOne, the manager, former team chief of the manufacturer in Moto2, showed great hope for what the current season might mean for the team, especially with home riders: ‘It will be an interesting year for the KTM project in MotoGP. I already know many people within the team after our years together in Moto2 and Moto3, but especially when it comes to the riders, it will be a great help to be able to work with Pedro Acosta and Brad Binder’.

And if Binder and Acosta deserve his total confidence, it doesn’t stop there: ‘Both are riders who have been part of the project for years, so on both sides we know what to expect. But we have four very strong riders, I have also worked with Maverick in the past, so all of this are positive things that will help in this change at the beginning of the season’.

KTM’s teams have undergone drastic changes given Acosta’s departure from Tech3 precisely to head to the factory team, while Jack Miller left the factory team and became a rider for Prima Pramac MotoGP Yamaha, with Viñales joining Tech3 through Aprilia Racing, as did Bastianini who gave a new direction to his career after riding with Ducati Lenovo Team.
