The Thailand GP brought challenges for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, with Brad Binder finishing in 8th position and Pedro Acosta in 19th, after an early crash. The extreme heat marked the first event of the season, making it difficult for the team’s performance.

Aki Ajo, Team Manager of the team, emphasized the importance of this first weekend: ‘Every lap is crucial, and after two tests and a Grand Prix in extreme conditions, we have valuable information for the future’. Despite difficulties in hot weather, the team demonstrated competitiveness in milder temperatures, a factor to consider for upcoming races.

The focus now shifts to the continuous evolution of the motorcycle and the adaptation of the riders. Ajo acknowledges that there is work ahead, but maintains a positive perspective: ‘We are learning and, in that sense, I am satisfied. In terms of performance, we need to continue working’.

With the season still in its early stages, KTM seeks to consolidate and improve its performance in adverse conditions. The next challenge will be in Argentina, where the team hopes to recover ground and demonstrate evolution.
