Those who think that Portugal de Lés-a-Lés is asleep are very mistaken! In fact, since the end of the 2023 event, commemorating the quarter century of the adventure organized by the Portuguese Motorcycling Federation, we have been working hard for the 26th edition. It is not always easy to reconcile the most exciting roads, with spectacular landscapes, and the availability of the municipalities… But the team of the FMP Mototourism Commission has not stopped and, while finalizing details of a route that will be mostly new, we can reveal two pieces of information.
Therefore, the starting point for the 26th Portugal de Lés-a-Lés will be Portimão, which will host the technical and documentary checks on June 6, as well as the early departure on Friday, June 7. This will be followed by the unavoidable passage through Alentejo heading north, on a route that is taking its final shape, but with the certainty of a festive ending in Penafiel. A land with a strong motorcycling tradition and the starting point of the 8th Portugal de Lés-a-Lés Off-Road, which will now welcome a caravan of 2000 motorcyclists on Sunday, June 9. An apotheotic ending, leaving the June 10 holiday, Portugal Day, Camões Day, and the Day of Portuguese Communities, for a peaceful return home.
One thing is certain, the animation, discovery, and pleasure of traveling will be guaranteed in the 26th Portugal de Lés-a-Lés, which already has the date of the Official Presentation scheduled. It will take place on March 17, Sunday, at the Malibu Foz Hotel in Figueira da Foz. This will be the time to learn more details about the great adventure and secure a place at the forefront of the long and diverse caravan, taking advantage of the opening of registrations.
