Miguel Oliveira had another tough Sprint race at the Malaysian MotoGP. After starting in 19th position on the grid, the Portuguese was always at the back, but still managed to recover to cross the finish line in 18th.
The man from CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team emphasized that there were many aspects that posed difficulties, but also acknowledged that he did not have high expectations and even took the opportunity to try out aspects for the main race:
– From where we started, we knew it was going to be a bit difficult. But anyway, we intended to simply set a pace and try out some things for tomorrow. I couldn’t accelerate out of the slow corners to prepare for an overtake. It was difficult to stop the bike. There is nothing specific we can do better behind other riders. It becomes increasingly difficult as you use up grip. I expect a tough race tomorrow, but anyway we will give our best from start to finish and see what we can achieve.
