We’ve talked a lot about Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Benda in the past. We know for a fact that Benda breaks the stereotype associated with Chinese motorcycles, as it has some of the most unusual and different-looking bikes in production.
Case in point: the LFC700, a futuristically styled cruiser with angular lines and an unexpected engine. Initially, we all thought that the LFC700 would never leave Benda’s home country of China. But, surprisingly, Benda has launched this futuristic cruiser bike in France, hinting that it may soon reach other European markets too.
Well, for a start, its style is quite unique, and it’s different from the conventional cruiser we see from a variety of manufacturers these days. Its lines are futuristic and, to me, seem to evoke bikes like the Honda NM750, the Ducati Diavel and the Yamaha VMAX.
The LFC700 also rides on unusually large tires. The front wheel measures 19 inches and is fitted with robust 130/70 tires. Meanwhile, the rear wheel measures 18 inches and has a huge 310 cross-section tire. This means that the bike looks like it has a much bigger engine than it actually does.
Speaking of which, the bike is equipped with an engine you’d expect to find in a naked streetfighter or sports bike: a 676 cc four-cylinder engine with liquid cooling. With 79 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 59.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, its power range also fits well into sports bike territory.
Other features of the LFC700 are quite common when it comes to bikes made in China. It has a TFT color display, full LED lighting and dual-channel ABS as standard.
In France, it has a suggested price of 11,900 euros – quite a high price, but it’s difficult to judge its price as there are no other bikes like it on the market.
