Marc Márquez has titles, experience, and a very strong presence in the garage, and the current world champion, Pecco Bagnaia, who will have the Spaniard as a teammate in 2025, fears that #93 could shake up the current dynamics, as revealed by Davide Tardozzi.
After the confirmation that the superstar will join the factory team from next year, the Team Manager of the Italian team was asked by Cycle World about the rider’s reaction to Márquez’s arrival, with the manager clarifying and revealing Bagnaia’s concerns:
– Pecco has repeated several times that he hopes to maintain the existing harmony in the garage, so his concern is that situations may arise that could damage this atmosphere in the garage. This is also our priority.
Tardozzi believes, however, that Márquez will not cause problems and that there is the ability to manage both riders correctly: ‘We do not think that Marc’s presence can create problems within the Ducati garage. We believe that we are capable of managing two champions like Marc and Pecco’.
