The 19th edition of the Yamaha Trophy continues to its second stage, which will take place on June 9th in Rio Maior. The oldest off-road trophy held in Portugal will once again be contested on one of the most iconic tracks of this competition promoted by YAMAHA Portugal, with the participation of many riders and a large audience expected.
Similar to previous years, this stage of the Yamaha Trophy will have the support of the Municipal Council, the Parish Council of Rio Maior, and the Rio Maior Motorcycle Club. For this round, the track has been improved, with the start facing the public, a factor that will surely bring more excitement and adrenaline to this great sporting event.
The Rio Maior round will have three tracks for the races, with 21 classes in competition, and the presence of hundreds of competitors is once again expected to be the highlight of an intense day of excellent races.
The checks for the Rio Maior race start at 7:30 am. The training sessions begin at 9 am, and the first race starts at 1:50 pm. As usual, the race day ends with the prize-giving ceremony scheduled for 6:40 pm. Entry to watch the races is free.
