Jorge Martín leads the MotoGP World Championship since his victory in the Portuguese GP and he had a 39-point advantage. The Prima Pramac Racing rider is seen as one of the main contenders for the title, but the recent confirmation at Aprilia for 2025 could change the whole game.
And, despite still leading comfortably, journalist Manuel Pecino stated, quoted by the website Motosan.es, that he sees the Spanish rider at a disadvantage position from now on without being sabotaged:
– What Martín will we find from now on? For me, it is very clear that Jorge cannot win the championship. They will not let him win. Let’s say they don’t sabotage him, but surely they have a clause that says if he leaves the team next year, he will not receive the latest updates.
Pecino believes that Martín may end up complaining about the drop in performance of the bike later on: ‘I hope not to hear “I don’t know what’s wrong with the bike,” “the feelings are not the same.” He won’t say they are sabotaging him, but he may say that the bike is not working as it did at the beginning‘.
