With Pedro Acosta confirmed at Red Bull KTM for the 2025 MotoGP season, Jack Miller is likely to be left out of the team – as, unlike Brad Binder, he does not have a contract beyond this year and the results are far from expected.
The Australian admitted that he has no confirmation for the next season and showed understanding of the Mattighofen manufacturer’s choice regarding Acosta:
– Not really, I’m applying for jobs at the moment, I’m looking for a new job. So tell me if you have any positions that could fit in your job. I don’t know if I’ll get along with television. I mean, it’s obvious that it was a clear decision from them. He’s doing a fantastic job as he did all year, he’s an incredible rookie. As we all know, he’s one of those talents of a generation, so for them to do that is a logical step.
Despite having an uncertain future, Miller is not in a hurry to sign a contract and is confident in his continuity in MotoGP: ‘It’s obvious that I’m not eager to sign any papers with the results I’ve had so far [this season]. Don’t get me wrong, there’s not a huge list of people lining up to try to give me one, but we’ll have a place. I’m not too stressed. Like I said, I’m not eager to sign at the moment, I’d rather have some better results to try to help me a little more. But it’s a logical choice [Acosta’s promotion to Red Bull KTM’.
