The MotoGP testing day at Mugello is being conditioned by rain at the Italian circuit. Therefore, about six hours before the end, only nine riders had completed timed laps.
The fastest rider, at the time of writing this article, is Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM), with just a 0.033s lead over Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas Tech3/KTM), followed by Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM).
The lap times are naturally very high compared to those recorded during the Italian GP weekend, due to the wet asphalt. Joan Mir (Repsol Honda) and Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) complete the top five.
Several riders have not completed timed laps, and many have not even left the garage at this point. One of them is Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), the winner of the GP at Mugello, but also Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira (Trackhouse Racing/Aprilia) is in the same situation.
