The Moto3 Italian Grand Prix race was interrupted during the fourth lap with a red flag. An accident involving two riders justified the decision.
Filippo Farioli (SIC58 Squadra Corse/Honda) and Xabi Zurutuza (Red Bull KTM Ajo) were the ones involved, with Zurutuza even being hit by the opponent’s bike and needing assistance on the spot.
That was what led to the red flag. The Spaniard was transported by ambulance to the circuit’s medical center, but on TV images, a thumbs-up gesture could be seen, indicating that everything is fine.
