More details are now known about the health condition of Lukas Tulovic, who this morning suffered a serious crash in the first race of the Italian MotoE Grand Prix.
The accident occurred on the opening lap, when the Dynavolt Intact GP rider had a highside at turn 15 of the Mugello circuit. The rider was attended to at the scene, with a red flag being shown.
The team has now announced that Tulovic was unconscious for a few minutes, and was later taken to a hospital. Doctors diagnosed a concussion in the head and a small tear in a lung.
The German’s health condition requires him to stay in the hospital in Florence overnight, but he should be able to go home tomorrow – with no risk to his life.
