Lukas Tulovic suffered a serious accident in the first race of the Italian MotoE Grand Prix. Everything happened at the end of the opening lap, which was going well for the German.
The Dynavolt Intact GP rider had been in podium positions since the start when he lost control of the bike at turn 15 in Mugello, crashing violently on the asphalt after an apparent highside.
At this moment, there is not much information about Tulovic’s condition, as he was attended to on-site and transported by ambulance. What is known is that the rider is conscious.
As for this first MotoE race, it will be rescheduled for another time of the day, yet to be announced, considering the tight schedule before the Moto3 and Moto2 qualifying sessions.
