Miguel Oliveira was unable to repeat the top five in the MotoGP Italian GP qualifying. The Trackhouse Racing rider could only manage 11th place in Q2 at Mugello, which was his starting position for both races.
In his first outing on track, “Falcão” opted for two new tires: a medium one at the front and a soft one at the back. However, he only managed 11th place, thanks to Enea Bastianini’s (Ducati) lap being cancelled.
With the second attempt, the scenario didn’t improve much for Oliveira, who remained in 11th place. At that time, he was the lowest classified of the four Aprilia riders present.
Despite managing to improve once when he returned to the track, the rider from Almada still finished in 11th place, 0.873s behind Jorge Martín’s (Prima Pramac/Ducati) pole position. Behind him was only his teammate, Raúl Fernández.
