Pedro Acosta suffered a fall at turn 13 of Mugello during the MotoGP Italian GP practice. With his KTM RC16 in no condition to allow him to resume, he had to be transported by scooter by a marshal.
It is a common procedure to see at all Grand Prix races. Less common is for the rider himself to have to give a “help” to make the scooter move. But Acosta had to do it this time.
Before getting on as a passenger, the Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider had to push the bike that was on an incline before being able to sit in the back.
