On Wednesday at the Isle of Man TT, it was marked by red flags when an incident during Sidecar qualifying ended the day’s practice.
In a statement from the Isle of Man race direction, all updates on the condition of the riders were provided up to that moment.
– An incident at Bishopscourt, during Wednesday night’s sidecar qualifying session, involving equipment number 31, resulted in a red flag. Rider Chris Schofield and passenger Tom Dawkins were both reported as conscious and both transported by plane to Noble’s Hospital for treatment.
Through social media, rider Chris Schofield revealed that he suffered two punctured lungs, a laceration in the liver, a concussion, soft tissue damage, cuts, and bruises. According to Schofield, his passenger was discharged from the hospital.
