Follow the high speeds of Mugello: All the schedules of the Italian GP

One week after the Catalunya GP, the MotoGP World Championships continue immediately with the Italian GP. In the first visit to Italy of the season, the fast Mugello circuit hosts not only the premier class, but also Moto2, Moto3, and MotoE. Ducati competes at home in MotoGP and seeks to continue the dominance it has had. They have won the last three rounds with different riders, in addition to dominating the podiums in all of them. The leader is Jorge Martín (Pramac/Ducati), with a 39-point lead over Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) – who is one of the home riders and is aiming for a second consecutive victory. Marc Márquez, currently third in the standings, continues to search for his first victory on a Ducati and the Italian GP is the home round for his team, Gresini. Also competing in front of their home crowd is Aprilia, with Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales, but also the riders from the satellite Trackhouse Racing team – Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernández – will try to bring the Noale manufacturer back to the top positions. In Moto2, Sergio García (MT Helmets-MSi/Boscoscuro) continues his good form and leads comfortably with a 19-point advantage over Joe Roberts (OnlyFans American Racing Team/Kalex), who is coming off his worst result of the year. Ai Ogura (MT Helmets-MSi/Boscoscuro), on the other hand, won for the first time in 2024 last Sunday and is in third, trying to get closer to the top in Mugello. Fermín Aldeguer (SpeedUp/Boscoscuro) has been below expectations and, after retiring in Catalunya, will try to react to not let the title fight slip away further.

With two consecutive victories, David Alonso (CFMoto Aspar) is the man of the moment in Moto3. He has a 14-point lead over Daniel Holgado (Red Bull GasGas Tech3) and it is this lead that he will try to defend in Italy. Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) is in third place, already 29 points behind the rival immediately ahead, so he will never dethrone either of the top two in this round.

The MotoE season reaches its halfway point at the Italian GP, with everything still up for grabs. The top three are separated by just three points, with Kevin Zannoni (Openbank Aspar) leading after achieving his first ever victory in the championship in Barcelona. Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team) is second, while Oscar Gutiérrez (Axxis-MSi) is in third. Nicholas Spinelli (Tech3 E-Racing) saw his streak of two wins come to an end with two retirements in Catalunya, looking to bounce back and get closer to the front.
