It is official, the Indian GP has been postponed to 2025. FIM, IRTA, and Dorna Sports announce that the Indian Grand Prix will not take place in 2024, with MotoGP postponing its return to the country to early 2025 due to operational considerations.
Following the advice of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, as the state continues its long-term commitment to MotoGP™, the sport will return to the Buddh International Circuit in March 2025, when the weather conditions are expected to be optimal for both spectators and riders.
With this change, there is currently no information on whether there will be a replacement GP. If that possibility arises, it would be interesting to consider the Portuguese GP, as it has replaced other GPs in the past.
