At Eicma 2023, the Keeway Group’s top-of-the-range brand – MBP – is presenting a beautiful new entry into the medium-displacement adventure motorcycle sector: the new MBP T502X.
This new adventure is equipped with a liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that delivers 47.6 hp of power at 8,500 rpm, which perfectly meets the requirements of the A2 driving license. The maximum torque delivered by the twin-cylinder engine is 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm.
At first glance, the bike has a strong presence and the ground clearance does it justice. The MBP T502X is equipped with a 180 mm stroke inverted fork and, at the rear, a 170 mm stroke shock absorber with adjustable preload. The standard tires are Pirelli 110/80 R19 tubeless at the front and Pirelli 150/70 R17 – also tubeless – at the rear. Slowing down this new adventure is a J.Juan brake system, while the declared dry weight is 195 kg, to which we have to add the 16 liters in the fuel tank.
The new MBP is very attractive in its aesthetics, undoubtedly helped by the original equipment which should not be underestimated. In fact, we find engine guards, hand guards, fairing guards, exhaust guards, full LED headlights and a color TFT display. Finally, there’s the wide handlebar set and an adjustable, vertically positioned windshield.
