The KTM European Adventure Rally is gearing up for its seventh edition, this time giving adventure motorcycle enthusiasts the chance to head to the southwest coast of Europe.
Taking place between October 7 and 10, the event will cover 800 km of carefully selected on- and off-road routes, sending 250 orange-blooded adventure enthusiasts through dense forests, rolling hills and the charming towns of Portugal’s Algarve region.
The rally starts in the coastal town of Lagos, from where participants can choose to tackle the event in guided groups or opt to go it alone, following the GPS instructions “Rally style”.
All levels of competence are welcome, with the main route consisting of smooth, easy-going gravel paths.
However, for drivers who want to test their mettle and their machine, there are a number of optional special stages along the route, along with optional ultra-challenging Breakout sections to put even the most seasoned veterans to the test.
