QJ Motor is arguably one of the fastest growing motorcycle manufacturers in the world. The Chinese motorcycle manufacturer is the parent company of some notable names in the industry, such as Benelli, Keeway and MBP. As well as having a strong presence in China and other parts of Asia, QJ Motor has been steadily expanding its operations in Europe.
Most recently, QJ Motor signed an exclusive distribution agreement with SIMA, a distributor of several motorcycle brands on the European market. SIMA will take over QJ Motor’s distribution from DIP SAS and will cover the main European markets, namely France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland. SIMA is responsible for distributing a number of well-known brands on the European market, including Royal Enfield, Moto Morini and Hyosung. It also owns Mash Motorcycles, a manufacturer specializing in retro-classic models.
Dominique Delsart, president of SIMA, explained in an article in the French motorcycling publication Le Repaire Des Motards, “It is with great enthusiasm that SIMA joins forces with QJ Motor to distribute this new brand on the French, Belgian, Luxembourgish, Dutch and Swiss markets. QJ Motor’s rich history and ongoing commitment to innovation make it an ideal partner for SIMA.”
QJ Motor has an extensive catalog of motorcycles. Occupying almost every segment of the motorcycle market, the Chinese company has simplified its offerings for various markets, including A1 and A2 license-compatible bikes for novice riders, as well as high-end performance-oriented offerings such as the SRK1000RR. The brand has also entered the fast-growing electric motorcycle market with models such as the OWO and Q2.
