The Honda Monkey is easily one of the most iconic mini-bikes in the world. Since its debut in 1961, it has been acclaimed the world over and is a favorite among enthusiasts and users alike, as the Monkey doesn’t take itself too seriously and has always been synonymous with fun and freedom of expression.
Because of this global admiration, Monkey has also become a favorite among custom bike builders looking to make a mark. And in Thailand, Cub House, a store specializing in all things Mini-Moto Honda, has unveiled a special edition model called the “Monkey King Special Custom Edition” that looks fantastic.
Essentially a custom build straight from the showroom floor, this special two-wheeler has an emphasis on elegance and sophistication and is sure to catch the eye of people looking to stand out from the competition.
This charming mini-moto is decorated in a black and gold paint job, with the inscription “Monkey Edition” painted in a classic carnival font on the tank, while matching gold stripes add a certain retro touch. The set is completed with a Monkey King emblem and a set of decal details representing card suits on the swingarm.
Only 300 of these will be produced. Unfortunately for Honda Monkey fans in other parts of the world, it seems that the Monkey King Special Custom Edition will only be sold in Thailand. However, if you like this kind of aesthetic, it could inspire you to build your own customized Monkey. After all, the Monkey is one of the most customized motorcycles in the world, and there are lots of aftermarket parts to choose from – many of which we’ve talked about in the past.
