Pedro Acosta arrives at the Catalunya GP motivated to do better. The Spanish rider wants to show his worth after a crash at the Le Mans GP took him out of the Sunday race.
The Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 rider is currently in 6th place in the championship and has been very consistent since the beginning of the season, with three consecutive podiums. In statements, according to www.motosan.es, Acosta talked about the upcoming “home” GP.
– Le Mans was a somewhat frustrating weekend because, as I said, we had the bike ready to be at the front of the race. I arrive at Montmeló with more enthusiasm and clear ideas, so I will try to have a good Friday, continue on Saturday, and finish on Sunday. Let’s see how we manage the tires throughout the weekend on a low-grip circuit, fortunately in these first 5 races I have learned a little more about it. That said, I am very excited for the weekend and to see the GASGAS fans fill the stands with red.
Augusto Fernández, who comes from less than positive results and below expectations after a very promising debut year in MotoGP, is motivated to race at a very familiar circuit: ‘I am excited to go to Montmeló this week, a home GP for me.’
