Lucas Coenen is in great shape and today on the return of MX2 to Saint Jean d’Angely he did not give the competition a chance by beating everyone in both races.
In the first race, the rider from Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing Husqvarna defeated Andrea Adamo (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing KTM) by a difference of 10.145s, while Kay de Wolf, the championship leader and his teammate, finished third.
Within the top five was Simon Laengenfelder (Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing GASGAS), ahead of Mikkel Harrup (Monster Energy Triumph Racing).
In the second race of the day, of decisions, Coenen once again surpassed all the competition but now with an even greater margin, with his teammate being the first “casualty”, finishing second more than 24s behind. Laengenfelder reached the podium this time with a 29.849s disadvantage to the Belgian, with Adamo being the first outside the podium positions and Liam Everts (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing KTM) closing the top five.
In the championship standings, de Wolf continues to lead with 342 points, 52 more than Laengenfelder, while Coenen, with 50 points added today, totals 283 and is getting closer to #516.
