Carlo Pernat, in statements according to Motosa.es, talked about the future of Enea Bastianini and emphasized that the priority of the Italian rider is to stay in the factory team. The Italian agent also spoke about Marc Márquez’s arrival in the Ducati ranks and how it destabilized the management of Ducati riders.
– The priority is to stay with the factory team, everything else will be seen. Going to Pramac with a factory bike may be a possibility, but it’s not certain. Speaking as an agent, there are sirens from Aprilia, KTM and even Yamaha. I don’t hide that Aprilia has important aspects, it would be the combination of the Italian rider and a competitive bike, I am negotiating with them and others. Whatever happens, Enea may find a place in a factory team.
Regarding Márquez’s arrival, Pernat said: ‘I always said that Marquez’s arrival at Ducati would break the balance after having pursued a youth policy and winning. Now it’s difficult what to do, they created this problem for themselves.’
