Fermín Aldeguer is one of the most promising riders in Moto2 at the moment and already has a contract with Ducati to move up to MotoGP in 2025. However, this year has not been easy for the SpeedUp/Boscoscuro rider.
After five rounds, he has only one victory and another podium, currently sitting in third in the championship. He has not shown consistency in top positions yet and is 26 points behind the leader, Sergio García (MT Helmets-MSi/Boscoscuro).
Asked by the website GPOne.com about the fact that talented riders have passed through his team, Luca Boscoscuro emphasized the importance of working together with the rider before discussing Aldeguer’s case in 2024:
– This is crucial to achieve results, if the rider and the team work well together, then the bike becomes competitive. Fermín has a very high potential, extraordinary skills. This year he hasn’t found his rhythm yet, he hasn’t been lucky so far this season. […]. He is doing well, but Moto2 is the toughest category and when everything is not at 100 percent, it’s hard to even be in the top ten.
