The final laps of the French MotoGP Grand Prix were very intense, with a three-way battle for the win until the last moments. Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) secured the victory, resisting the pressure from his rivals.
In second place was Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) – who only in the last corners managed to secure that position, with an impressive overtaking of Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) after several attempts.
Asked in a press conference whether it is possible to enjoy the final laps under great tension in the fight for the top positions, the eight-time world champion replied:
– For me, it was quite short. It depends on your position. Of course, there is tension, adrenaline exists, but when you are leading it is very long; when you are recovering and have the rhythm, it is too short. But it is what it is and he [Martín] managed the situation very well.
