Jorge Martín dominated the French MotoGP Grand Prix, with the pole position and victories in both races. Results that helped him to significantly distance himself in the lead of a championship where Miguel Oliveira is in 14th place.
With 129 points accumulated, Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) was the first to surpass the hundred-point mark this season. He is 38 points ahead of Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), while third place is shared between Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati) two points behind the 2022 and 2023 champion.
In the top five is also Maverick Viñales (Aprilia), 48 points behind the leader, and with eight more than Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas Tech3/KTM) who dropped to sixth place. Further down, in 12th, Fabio Quartararo is the best of Monster Energy Yamaha, while Joan Mir (Repsol Honda) remains the best of Honda, in 18th.
After scoring zero points in a Grand Prix for the first time this year, Oliveira (Trackhouse Racing/Aprilia) lost a position and is 14th with 23 points. He is 13 points away from the top ten in the standings.
