Needing to make significant progress, Monster Energy Yamaha has been using MotoGP Grand Prix races to work on bike development. This weekend’s French GP, where Fabio Quartararo competes at home, will be no exception.
The Frenchman said in a press conference that he will try out solutions from the Jerez test during the Le Mans round: ‘We will try out some things from the test. Of course, it’s not a huge difference, but we will have some items from the test‘.
With no solid expectations set for the French GP, Quartararo only gave one assurance: ‘Expectations are difficult to say, but we will give our best anyway‘.
Asked to specify what material tested in Jerez will be on the bike, El Diablo clarified: ‘We will have the new frame. Normally the swingarm was planned to be, but we will not try it here. We will also have a test in Mugello after the race, so we will test it there‘.
