The team manager of Prima Pramac Racing, Gino Borsoi, in statements to DAZN, spoke about the performance of his rider, Jorge Martín so far, revealing himself to be very optimistic and praising the Spanish rider highly.
After the first free practice session, Jorge Martín dominated the times, and Borsoi talked about his rider’s start to the season, including the Jerez GP.
– Obviously it was a good opportunity, but there are still many races to go. We have to keep working. He was pushing a bit more than on the previous lap, but I think it was more the movement of the bike at an unfortunate moment, the track was also a bit tricky. The good news is that Jorge is still in the lead.
He also added: ‘Here the Ducati is performing well, and the test was very interesting for Jorge. And he is having his best season ever, we have to be realistic about the situation. A crash is something that can happen and crashes can happen, but he is still leading.’
