The first free practice session in Le Mans of MotoE ended with Hector Garzo (Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE) in first position. The Spanish rider finished with a time of 1:40.802 establishing the fastest lap of the session.
Closing the top 3 were Kevin Zannoni (Openbank Aspar Team) and Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team) in second and third, respectively. Zannoni finished with a disadvantage of 0.469 milliseconds to Garzo and Casadei with just over 0.500 milliseconds from the top of the table.
Rounding out the Top 5 of the first free practice session were Nicholas Spinelli (Tech3 E-Racing) and Eric Granado (LCR E-Team), in fourth and fifth position with a distance of 0.544 and 0.552 milliseconds, respectively.
Jordi Torres (Openbank Aspar Team), Andrea Mantovani (KLINT Forward Factory Team), Alessandro Zaccone (Tech3 E-Racing), Miquel Pons (Axxis-MSI), and Alessio Finello (Felo Gresini MotoE) close out the top 10. Chaz Davies (Aruba Cloud MotoE Racing Team) remains outside the top ten positions, finishing only in 15th place ahead of Maria Herrera (KLINT Forward Factory Team) in 16th.
