Who will be Francesco Bagnaia’s teammate at Ducati in MotoGP in 2025? This is the burning question when it comes to the rider market, with several possible candidates.
One of them is Marc Márquez, currently at Gresini. However, he would pose a strong threat to Francesco Bagnaia, who was champion in 2022 and 2023 and seems to be the leader of Ducati on track.
Therefore, it was speculated that the Italian could hinder Márquez’s entry. However, this Thursday Bagnaia assured that this is not the case and he is indifferent to who will be his teammate:
– In the past few days, I saw a video on Twitter [X] of a Spanish journalist saying that he heard that I don’t want Marc in the factory team. But it’s nonsense, I don’t care. I just want to beat them all, always try to be the best and keep going like this. I have no preference.
Nevertheless, the two-time MotoGP world champion recalled that if Enea Bastianini stops being his teammate, the work will have to start over: ‘Honestly, I am working well with Enea, I know perfectly the type of work we are approaching. If the team changes the teammate, we have to start over again, but in any case my ambition is always to be stronger than them‘.
