Honda is going through a tough period, but that doesn’t mean there is no hope of doing well, and that’s exactly what is happening with Joan Mir, who comes with some hope for this next GP after a positive round in Spain. Playing with the setup will be crucial, he says.
The former world champion is eager to do ‘the same’ as he did in Jerez, and revealed that working with the tuning is the trick to do well in France, even though this track is not usually where he performs best:
– Finally, when we look at what happened in Jerez, we have to be satisfied, we achieved the maximum we could. Doing the same this weekend is the goal. Le Mans is a different type of track, with many low-speed corners, so we have to work to prepare as best as possible. It is true that in the past, it was a bit of a tricky track for me, but this weekend we go with our goals and our plan.
