Pedro Acosta already has four rounds in his still short career in MotoGP. The trajectory has been encouraging, showing a capacity for quick adaptation and the ability to fight for top positions.
Asked in a press conference if, based on the data, he sees something that he is already doing differently compared to the first GP of the season, the young Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider replied: ‘Well, maybe, but this is not my job. In the end, I am very focused on improving my riding. We are on the right track and we are working towards that‘.
In Acosta’s opinion, there is a particularly difficult aspect to work on as a rookie: ‘Aside from aerodynamics, electronics are, for me, or perhaps for a rookie, the worst thing in a competition weekend because we don’t have much time to improve or make big steps‘.
Finally, the Spanish rider stated: ‘I don’t really know. In the end, it is true that we have changed some things, but not too much. We are much more focused on understanding what to prioritize in a competition weekend and understanding what we need to be fast‘.
