Davide Tardozzi commented on the battle between Marc Márquez and Francesco Bagnaia in the Jerez GP. With a start marked by wins and falls, notably in Portimão, the Italian rider was starting to lose ground to Jorge Martín.
However, the Spanish rider from Pramac Racing suffered a fall in Jerez that left him with only a 17-point advantage over Pecco.
In statements to GPOne, Tardozzi spoke about the fight and the performance of the Ducati riders during Sunday’s race.
– ‘It was a masterpiece signed by the world champion against an equally great eight-time world champion. Pecco’s overtaking in the first lap, he passed two on the outside. I repeat: it was a masterpiece. Today was one of those days that put Bagnaia in the Olympus of champions. That 1’37’44 was something almost unexpected, but superhuman.’
