Jorge Lorenzo in his podcast talked about the most important events of the last Jerez GP. The former MotoGP rider and world champion talked about the performance of Jorge Martín and Pedro Acosta.
The Spanish former rider and DAZN commentator started by talking about Martín: ‘Jorge didn’t understand why he had crashed. In motorcycling, you pay dearly for a mistake. In a moment, we go from 25 points to 0. It’s very expensive, because if the bike hits the gravel, it gets destroyed. It’s an unfair sport. Anyone could have crashed and it was his turn.’
He also added his opinion about Acosta and what he expects from the next Le Mans GP.
– ‘There are moments as a MotoGP rider when you think ‘this is my weekend, I’m going to win’. In Austin he wasn’t expecting it and it worked out, and here it was the opposite, they were expecting it and it didn’t work out. Everything came together a bit, Pedro would do better with a Ducati than with the GASGAS, in my opinion. For me, Bagnaia, Martin, Acosta. It’s a circuit that favors Ducati, but it’s true that Márquez has to be there. It depends a lot on the weather and if it rains.’
