Valentino Rossi spoke in statements to MotoGP.com. The owner of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team talked about the differences of the team from last year to this year and about his bike.
Rossi showed that the team continues to improve and talked about the performance of his riders in Jerez.
– ‘This season is a bit more difficult than last year, because the Ducati’s 23 model is very different from last year’s bike and we need more experience as a team and riders to push the bike to the limit, so we need more kilometers. Despite everything, we are getting there, Bezz has improved a lot and we hope to be competitive.’
Asked about how he predicts the championship will unfold until the end of the season: ‘For me on paper, the number 1 and 2 in the championship are Pecco and Martin. At the moment, Martin is better, because sometimes Pecco has less luck, he has also made some mistakes, so Martin already has some advantage in the championship. But there are also several riders like Acosta or Viñales who can fight for the championship.’
