There is a lot of excitement about Pedro Acosta in MotoGP and the rookie has been very competitive so far, already securing two podiums. From the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 team, there are some expectations about what he can achieve.
The Team Manager of the French team recalled what happened last year, with both KTM RC16 riders performing well: ‘Now it’s time to start the European part of the MotoGP World Championship, as we head to the famous Jerez – Ángel Nieto Circuit for the Spanish Grand Prix. This Andalusian track is well known to all riders, as there are always many tests taking place on this circuit. Pierer Mobility will have high expectations, after seeing Brad Binder and Jack Miller on the podium in the sprint and race last year, so we know that the RC16 is working well at this track’.
He then focused his attention on the rising superstar: ‘On the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 side, Pedro Acosta has had an excellent start to the season, with two podiums and a front row start, and it is now quite clear that he is already riding at a high level in the premier class’.
And he recalled what happened in 2023 as well with “The Shark”: ‘Last season in Moto2, he was on the podium, so it’s a track he likes and we are excited to see what he can do this week at home’.
