The difficulties of Honda were clearly visible in the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas. No rider managed to score points in Austin, with Luca Marini (Repsol Honda) being the only one of the four to finish in both races.
His teammate, Joan Mir, retired in both American races. The difficulties are notorious, and the 2020 world champion does not hide them, stating:
