Franco Morbidelli finished the Sprint race in 10th position. Despite liking the circuit, the Italian rider was unable to score points in the Saturday race.
In the debrief, the Prima Pramac Racing rider talked about his Sprint race and the sensations he had during the race.
– ‘I am happy with the performance we had and the way we approached this weekend. The race went very smoothly and I gained new sensations with the bike. I was able to understand from the other Ducati riders where I needed to be more aggressive and how to ride the bike, it was positive, I am happy.’
Franco also spoke about approaching the corners differently during the race: ‘I was able to see where I need to trust the bike more in some areas of the circuit, in acceleration and in pure braking.’
