Aleix Espargaró finished the Sprint race in 5th position. The Spanish rider had a good race where he was able to move up two positions and finish with five more important points for the championship in 5th place.
In the debrief, the Aprilia Racing rider talked about his Sprint race and the sensations he had throughout the entire race.
– ‘Pedro is unbelievable, I expected him to be competitive, but I never thought he would be this good. He just needs to better manage the tires and handle situations during the race. As for my race, I am very happy because I am on a circuit where I have never been very competitive and I managed to perform at a good level, of course I would like to win like Maverick did. I am very happy for Aprilia and for Maverick, but I hope to be even more competitive in the race and tire consumption. We will see how it goes, I would like to win, but I am not on the most favorable circuit for me.’
