Enea Bastianini finished the Sprint race in 6th position. The Italian rider added four more points to his championship and finished ahead of his teammate, Francesco Bagnaia, who finished in 8th position.
In the debrief, the rider talked about the sensations he had during the Sprint race of the Americas GP.
– ‘It was a very difficult race. The biggest problem was the rear grip and now we have to understand why this situation happened. I tried to keep up with the front riders, but it was impossible. Every time I accelerated or wanted to be more aggressive, I had little grip at the rear and it was impossible.’
Enea also mentioned what he thought could be the problem with his lack of rear grip on his Ducati during the Sprint race: ‘I don’t know why, but compared to the others, I had less grip than the other riders. Since Friday, we have had less grip than the other riders.’
