Franco Morbidelli, still adapting to his Ducati, has not been able to achieve very positive results so far.
The Italian rider from Prima Pramac Racing has already stated that he is in a process of adapting to his new bike and that it will be a normal process, but he foresees good results in the long run. In the debrief, Morbidelli talked about his expectations for this weekend at the Americas GP.
– ‘It’s a beautiful circuit where I have had good results in the past. Let’s see what I can do, I hope to improve my results compared to Portimão, get used to the new bike and the new setup and team. Let’s see what I can do.’
Asked about the work done on his bike compared to the development work that exists in simulators, for example, in NASCAR or Formula 1, Franco replied: ‘For now, we are far from being a simulator close to reality and what it is on the actual circuit, but if someone develops that virtual reality well, they may be able to achieve a reality closer to the truth, but for now we are far from that.’
