Last November, Honda unveiled its new electric scooter, the CUV e:. Now, its market launch date has been confirmed – starting in Japan on June 20.
This scooter is designed for city traffic and can accommodate both a rider and a passenger. It features two Honda Mobile Power Pack e: batteries, located under the seat, which can be swapped out.
The power output reaches 6 kW, with a single charge providing a range of 57 km. The frame is made of steel, and the scooter is equipped with a combined braking system. Full LED lighting enhances visibility.
On the technology front, the CUV e: offers three riding modes. The instrument panel is a 5-inch TFT display, or 7 inches on the version with Honda RoadSync Duo, which allows smartphone connectivity.
