Second in the MXGP world championship, Tim Gajser is ready to race in Trentino, once again in Italy, after last week’s round in Riola Sardo. The Slovenian is confident to take another lap at a very familiar location like the Pietramurata track.
In a team statement, the Team HRC rider expressed his excitement for the upcoming round: ‘I am always thrilled to race in Trentino. It is the race closest to a ‘home’ GP for me and I know that many fans will make the trip from Slovenia to watch me race’.
Although this is not his favorite location, it gives him a good feeling: ‘Even though it is not necessarily my favorite circuit, I enjoy racing here just because of the energy of the fans and how loud and intense it can be. It also holds many good memories for me and I am excited to try to add to that number this weekend’.
Gajser is second in the MXGP with 157 points, while Jorge Prado leads with 174.
