Fabio Quartararo will face the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas next weekend. It is the first one since his continuity at Monster Energy Yamaha until 2026 was confirmed, following a seventh place in Portugal.
The Frenchman stated in the preview of this third round of the year: ‘We arrive in Austin with work to do. We missed the opportunity to test in Portimão, so we need to work hard this weekend.’.
About announcing his continuity at Yamaha last week, Quartararo emphasized that it is a confirmation that makes intentions clear, with total focus now on returning to victories:
– I am happy to have announced my stay with Yamaha. I think this will help us, both me and the team, because we have clearly stated our intentions. I want to bring Yamaha back to winning ways and they are motivated to develop the bike. So now we can focus attentively on the work we have to do to get to that point.
