There is no doubt that Ducati is currently the most competitive manufacturer in MotoGP. In addition to achieving all possible titles in 2022 and 2023, they started the new season with two triumphs – Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) in Qatar and Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) in Portugal.
The next round is the Americas GP in Austin. There, they can equal a decade-old record: the most consecutive victories since the MotoGP era began in 2002.
The bar is set at 12 consecutive wins, established by Honda with Marc Márquez… who considers Austin one of his favorite circuits and now rides a Ducati for Gresini.
Since the Catalan GP last year, Ducati has not lost a race, so if they continue this way in Austin, they will reach 11 consecutive wins for the manufacturer.
It is important to note that Repsol Honda also holds the record for most consecutive wins by a team, but Ducati cannot reach it in Austin because the 11 victories were achieved by riders from all Ducati teams (factory and satellite).
