Maybe it will be applied to the future CF Moto 1250NK naked bike from KTM; a particularly interesting patent that illustrates an adjustable footrest system that the simplified images show us as a system that allows the footrests, gearbox, and articulation to be easily and quickly moved to the left side.
Perhaps the system is not as elegant as the completely tool-less system recently seen in a BMW patent, but the design of CF MOTO offers a greater range of movements. The footrests and gear lever control are mounted on a swivel mounting bracket that allows the footrests to move up and forward in an arc.
To adjust, simply loosen the central screw and remove the upper mounting bracket. You can then rotate the entire assembly and secure it in place by reinserting the upper fixing element and tightening the lower one. The upper fixer is located in a toothed groove on the footrest assembly, allowing you to select different positions.
Apparently, the patent will therefore be used in future CF MOTO hyper naked bikes, but given the upcoming collaboration with KTM, it begs the question of whether this system will also be used in some models of the Austrian brand.
