That’s right, MV Agusta, in perfect harmony with the desire of this brand to position itself in exclusivity, in the “work of art” to which MV is linked, after the starting point of the super-exclusive LXP Orioli, made in only 500 copies, complete with autograph and certificate of authenticity, here is the version that we could define as “basic”, the one intended for the common market and not aimed at collectors.
The new MV Agusta Enduro Veloce takes up the style and design of its project sister, imposing and light lines, a beautiful example of style that finds natural enhancement in the combination of red-silver colors. The aerodynamic aspect was considered with great attention to allow effective protection of the rider, also favoring a straight driving thanks to a thin and quite slim rear.
All based on a frame that starts with 21″ wheels at the front and 18″ at the back, Sachs suspension with a long travel (210mm for the fork and rear wheel). The frame is made of double-cradle steel perimeter, very resistant, the swingarm is made of aluminum alloy and the rear frame is removable. Adjustable seat height from 870 to 850mm. At the top of the brake compartment, thanks to Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers and dual 320mm discs; at the rear, single 265mm disc and dual-piston caliper and not lacking the Cornering ABS.
The engine is the result of a completely new project for MV; it is a compact and lightweight three-cylinder (only 57 kg), front-mounted, with 931 cc and equipped with a counter-rotating crankshaft. The power is 124 HP at 10,000 rpm, torque of 102 Nm at 7,000 rpm is immediately available, already at 3,000 rpm there is 85% of maximum torque. 6 speeds and the gearbox is removable from the right side (in previous engines it was on the left side). The declared performance in terms of acceleration is truly fascinating; only 3.72 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h, also thanks to the provided Launch Control system.
The electronics are truly sophisticated, introducing all the most modern possibilities of assistance and control to better respond to the different driving needs of a motorcycle that must be able to handle everything. The 6-axis inertial platform and ride-by-wire throttle control allow the rider to manage 4 riding modes capable of implementing different torque and power management strategies. The traction control is switchable and has 8 levels of intervention. Engine brake management and Cornering ABS can also be adjusted. In terms of electronics, nothing is missing.
Of course, there is also the possibility of adding numerous accessories to the new MV Agusta Enduro Veloce, especially the set of rigid side cases for a total of 71 liters of cargo capacity, as well as engine protection bars and frame protectors for those who want to engage in more intense off-road riding.
At the moment, there is no official information on the availability and price of the new Italian model. We will stay tuned for any updates.
